Gertrude Ann Webb, 79, a 55 year resident of Albuquerque, passed away on February 15, 2007. She was born in Vienna, Austria June 7th 1927, daughter of Ludwig and Sophie Palkovits. She wed Sergeant Elwood Webb, United States Army, in 1947, in Vienna and immigrated to the United States in 1948. She is survived by her sister Fritzie Gamperling of Vienna, Austria; brother Carl Bernhard of Columbus, OH; and her children Dr. Michael P. Webb of Albuquerque NM, John C. Webb of Rio Rancho NM, Dorothy A. Robertson of Sacremento, CA, Mary C. Zack of Vancouver, WA, Veronica J. James of Albuquerque and Lieutenant Colonel Erik Webb of El Paso, TX. She is also survived by 11 grand children and one great-grand child. Her Memorial Service will be held Monday, February 19th 2007 at French's Mortuary, 7121 Wyoming Blvd NE at 10:00 a.m. Interment will occur at Santa Fe National Cemetery, at a later date.
