Alice Vanderfecht, 97, a longtime resident of Albuquerque, passed away Friday, February 16, 2007. She is survived by her daughter, Loretta M Stark; grandsons, Frank J. Ruvolo and wife, Carol and Roger J. Ruvolo and wife, Dianne; granddaughter, Diana M. Duke and special friend, Daniel Montano; great-grandchildren Cinnamon R. Ruvolo, Robert E. Duke III, Peter Lloyd Duke and fiance, Vanessa Gonzalez; and great-great-granddaughter, Mira Angela Duke; and many other family members. Alice was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd John Vanderfecht in 1979; and her parents. Alice volunteered at the Storehouse for many years, was a member of St Paul's Lutheran Church and also loved to travel. Services will be held Tuesday, February 20, 2007, 2:00 p.m., at French Mortuary with private entombment to follow at Chester T. French Memorial Mausoleum. Friends may visit French Mortuary Monday, February 19, 2007 4:00-6:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to The Storehouse, 106 Broadway SE, Albuquerque, NM or to the charity of your choosing.
