Obituary for STURMOSKI

Billie Jean "B.J." Sturmoski, 30, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, passed away Saturday, February 10, 2007 after a lengthy illness. She is the beloved daughter of Maureen Sturmoski and John Baca and loving sister of Edward Sturmoski and Menon Schwoebel. She is also survived by her grandmother, Aurora Baca; aunts, Miriam Corcoran, Helen Corcoran Chiordi, Ann Sesler, Rita Rocca, Phyllis Parks, Marie Baca; uncles, Bob Sesler, John Rocca, Louis Parks; cousins, Michelann and Wes Tachibana, Angie and Gary Person, Elizabeth Sesler and many other relatives. She was preceded in death by her loving uncle and godfather, Michael J. Chiordi. B. J. graduated from Manzano High School in 1994 where she lettered in chorus. She volunteered over 5,000 hours at UNMH pediatric department. She would have received her Associate's Degree from UNM-VC in May. B. J. was a good friend to all, and touched many lives. Her family would like to express their gratitude to the staff and her friends at UNM-VC for their support through the years. A special thanks to the physicians and nursing staff at Presbyterian Hospital, AICU for the loving care given to B. J. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 13, 2007 at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd NE. A celebration of B. J.'s life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, a special fund "Friends of Billie Jean" has been established and contributions may be made at any Wells Fargo Bank. French Mortuary 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE 275-3500
