Rosemary Link Hicks Bingham, age 95 and a resident of Albuquerque since 1943, passed away on Thursday, February 1, 2007. She was preceded in death by brothers, Frank Link and Ed Link; first husband, James Ward Hicks; son, Lt. James Grayson Hicks USN; and second husband, William John Bingham. Rosemary is survived by her daughter, Mary Jane Hicks and husband, Larry Sher; daughter-in-law, Charlotte Hicks Church and husband, David E. Church; step-children, William L. Bingham and wife, Hui, Eleanor Bingham Bendall, Mary Bingham Falco and husband, Robert, Robert Bingham and wife, Elise; ten grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; sisters, Bernadine Hladick and husband, William, Rita Franke and husband, Alan; brothers, Joseph Link and wife, Catherine, Robert Link; and many nephews and nieces. She was a good friend and an active contributor to her community as a past board member of the Albuquerque Civic Orchestra, a founding member of the Kidney Foundation of New Mexico, past chairman of Common Cause, New Mexico, founding board member of St. Joseph Hospital Foundation, member of the Tuesday Literary Club, and past president of the Friends of Music. Friends may visit from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. on Friday, February 9, 2007, at French Mortuary, 1111 University Blvd. Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, February 10, 2007, 10:00 a.m., at St. Thomas Aquinas Newman Center, 1815 Las Lomas Road NE. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, 1900 Edith Blvd. NE.
