Obituary for LITTLEFORD

Edna Joan Littleford passed away peacefully on January 23, 2007 in the presence of her son and daughter. Joan was born on December 7, 1931 in Ravia, OK and graduated from Wilberton High School in 1949. She married the love of her life, Arthur Clyde Littleford on October 11, 1952. Soon after, she moved with her husband to Albuquerque, NM where she lived for 44 years as loving wife and mother of her two children, Scott and Myra. She was an active member in the United Methodist Church in Oklahoma, New Mexico, and Texas. In 2002 she moved to Plano, TX to be closer to her beloved grandchildren Will, Bonnie, and Ethan. She lived her life in service to the Lord, to her family and made many friends along her journey through life. She will be dearly missed by many. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Clyde Littleford who was called to be with the Lord on August 29, 1985. She was also preceded in death by her older sister, Jean Anderson of Pryor, OK. She is survived by her son, Scott A. Littleford of Las Cruces, NM; and daughter, Myra K. Conklin and husband, Harvey Conklin; grandchildren, Will, Bonnie, and Ethan Conklin of Plano, TX. She is also survived by her brother, Paul Falls, of Houston, TX; and her sister, Mary K. Boston of Pella, IA. A celebration of life Memorial will be held on Friday, January 26, 2007 at 10:30 a.m., at Custer Road United Methodist Church on 6601 Custer Road, Plano, TX.
