Manuel Ray Gonzales, Sr., age 73, a loving and supportive husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather and lifetime resident of Albuquerque went home to the Lord on January 23, 2007. He was a master tile setter who took great pride in his work. He worked on numerous public buildings and residences throughout New Mexico. Manuel was a grateful member of AA for 42 years and served as an example to many others. Manuel is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Della; daughters and their husbands, Susan and Jerry, Victoria and Dean; sons and their wives, Manuel, Jr. and Yolanda, Frank and Cindy. He is also survived by grandchildren, Jaqueline, John, Anthony S., Jennifer, Andrew, Ema, Alex, Chad, Anthony R., and Francisco; great-grandchildren, Cedrick, Samuel, Raistlynn, and Malachi. He is also survived by two brothers; four sisters; nephews; nieces; cousins; and many friends. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. A Rosary will be held Thursday, January 25, 2007, 7:00 p.m. at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church, 5311 Phoenix Ave. NE. Mass will be celebrated Friday, January 26, 2007, 9:00 a.m. at Shrine of St. Bernadette, 11401 Indian School Road NE. Pallbearers will be John Biesterveld, Scott Benavidez, Chris Anaya, Henry Anaya, Jr., Von Mendoza, Elizabeth Valasquez.
