Obituary for MORGAN

Doyle Kay Morgan, 77, a resident of Albuquerque since 1960, died Wednesday, January 17, 2007. He is survived by his daughter, Susan Splattstoesser of San Jose, CA; four grandchildren, Daniel Splattstoesser (Erica), Airman Adam Splattstoesser (Christine), Melody Splattstoesser, and Jennifer Splattstoesser; one great-grandson, Aiden Splattstoesser; brothers, Neil Morgan (LaNae) of Logan, UT, and Grant Morgan (Diane) of Liberty, ID; sisters, LouJean Allred (Jack) of Salt Lake City, UT, Verla Todd (Bruce) of Fruit Heights, UT, and Carolyn Park (Ivan) of Oakley, UT; and numerous other relatives and friends. Doyle was preceded in death by his parents, Evan and Lela Mae Saunders Morgan. He was born on May 23, 1929 in Liberty, ID and served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. Doyle worked for Sandia National Laboratories until he retired as a Design Engineer in 2006. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Sandia Ward. He served faithfully in many callings including as a missionary to Great Britain, a bishopric member, a high councilor, and a home teacher. Doyle was a loving father, grandfather and brother and will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Friends may visit French Mortuary, Wyoming Blvd. Chapel, on Tuesday, January 23, 2007 from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Services will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Sandia Ward, 4109 Eubank Blvd. NE on Wednesday, January 24, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. Burial will take place in Liberty, ID.
