Joseph G. Montoya Sr., 59, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away on Saturday, January 20, 2007. He is survived by his loving family: his parents, Vincent and Bridget Montoya; daughters, Donna Montoya-Lucero and Joe Ann Montoya; sons, Joseph, Timothy, and Emilio Montoya; brother, Robert Montoya; sisters, Bernice Alberto, Rose Nguyen, Betty Pacheco, and Geraldine Penida; two grandsons; two granddaughters; and many nieces and nephews. A viewing will begin at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, January 25, 2007 at Riverside Funeral Home Chapel with a Rosary to be recited at 6:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday morning at 10:30 a.m. at Sangre de Cristo Catholic Church located at 8901 Candelaria NE. Burial will follow and be announced at the church. Pallbearers will be Joel Alberto, Lam Nguyen Jr., John Alberto, Gerald Montoya, Jason Penida, Joshua Quesada, and Honorary Pallbearer will be Andy Montoya.
