Obituary for PERDUE

Connie George Perdue, 86, resident of Albuquerque, passed away Sunday, January 21, 2007. He is survived by his sons, Edward and wife, Linda of Albuquerque and Joseph and wife, Cyndi of Topeka, KS; daughters, Glenda Leggett and husband, Darrell of Trinidad, CO, Carolyn Rainwater of Albuquerque and Jackie Smith and husband, David of Mt. Vernon, GA; brothers, Willy of Tuttle, OK, Cecil of McKinney, TX, David of Ponca City, OK and Glenn of Monument, CO; sisters, Charlestine Sarratt and husband, Art of Shawnee, OK and Owita Willis and husband, Orville of Verden, OK; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and several other family and friends. Mr. Perdue was preceded in death by his wife; brother, R.D. Perdue; and sister, Mary Anderson. He was born in Stewart, OK and was raised on a farm in central Oklahoma. Mr. Perdue spent many years as an auto mechanic and then owned his own business in Tatum, NM. His hobbies included horses, fishing, hunting and he loved to travel. He will be dearly missed by his family. Friends may visit French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel, Wednesday, January 24, 2007, 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Services will be held Thursday, January 25, 2007, 10:00 a.m., at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE. French Mortuary 1111 University Blvd. NE 843-6333
