Obituary for BOROWIAK

Frank J. Borowiak Sr., 87, a resident of Rio Rancho, passed away quietly in his sleep on Sunday, January 21, 2007. Frank was born December 1, 1919, the son of Joseph and Theresa Deka Borowiak in Lemont, IL. He served in the U.S. Navy during WW II and worked as a draftsman for over 30 years with Danley Corporation. Frank is a member of Incarnation Catholic Church, and a member of the American Legion. Frank was preceded in death by daughter, Dolores and husband, Tom Krause. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Loretta; two sons, Frank, Jr. of Albuquerque, Harry (Paula) of Aurora, IL; two daughters, Mary Jo Benco (Don) of Rio Rancho, and Jeanne (Ernie Adams) of Albuquerque; one sister, Phyllis Borders of Illinois; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. When asked the secret to a good marriage, he answered, "yesdear is one word." The visitation for Frank will be held on Wednesday, January 24, 2007 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. with the Rosary being recited at 7 p.m. in the Chapel of Daniels Family Funeral Services at Vista Verde, Sara Rd. at Meadowlark Ln., Rio Rancho. The Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated on Thursday, January 25, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. at the Church of Incarnation, 2309 Monterrey Rd. NE, Rio Rancho.
