Delfina C. Trujillo, 88, went to be with her Lord on Friday, January 12, 2007 in Grants, NM surrounded by her loving family. She was born April 11, 1918 in San Marcial, NM to James and Barbarita (Padilla) Carmody. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mike A. Trujillo; her children: Josefita Gonzales, Barbara C. Trujillo, Barbara A. Trujillo, and Baby Boy Trujillo; brother, James Carmody Jr.; sisters: Juanita Apodaca and Margarita Chavez; and a great-grandson, Cameron. Delfina is survived by four sons: Tony Gonzales and wife, Margie of Indio, CA; Michael Trujillo and wife, Eunice of Alamogordo, NM; James Trujillo and wife, Frances of Albuquerque, NM; and Christopher Trujillo and wife, Charmain of Albuquerque; two daughters: Patricia Trujillo Trisler of Grants, NM; and Jeanette Bustamante and husband, Eddie of Albuquerque; 21 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends. A Rosary will be recited on Tuesday, January 16, 2007 at 7:00 p.m. at San Miguel Catholic Church in Socorro. Celebration of the Funeral Mass will be Wednesday, January 17, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. at San Miguel with Father John C. Daniel as Celebrant. Burial will be in the San Miguel Cemetery. Pallbearers are Adam Trujillo, Armando Gonzales, Matthew Bustamante, Chris Trujillo Jr., Michael Trisler II, and Rudy Chavez. Honorary Pallbearers are Delfina's grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Arrangements are under the care of Steadman-Hall Funeral Home, 309 Garfield, Socorro, NM.
