Mary G. Herrera passed away Sunday, December 31, 2006 in Albuquerque at the age of 86. Mrs. Herrera was a lifelong resident of Albuquerque. She worked as a secretary with the US Probation Office in both New Mexico and Washington, DC. She loved to travel and go fishing. She will be remembered as a loving parent to all of her nieces and nephews. Mrs. Herrera is preceded in death by her mother, Maria Gutierrez and her brother, Manuel Gutierrez. She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Manuel S. Herrera; brothers, Louie Gutierrez, and Raymond Gutierrez and wife, Rose; nieces and nephews, Magdalena Gutierrez, Ernest Gutierrez, Frances Gutierrez, K.L. Costella Gutierrez, Syliva Gutierrez and Ruben Gutierrez; and also by several grandnieces and nephews. Services for Mrs. Herrera will be held on Thursday, January 4, 2007 at St. Therese Catholic Church. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. with a Rosary to follow at 10:30 a.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Burial will take place at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Ernest Gutierrez, Ruben Gutierrez, Eloy Sanchez, Ross Gutierrez and Robert Rascon. Arrangements by: Salazar & Sons Mortuary 400 Third St. SW 247-4124
