Edwin J. Lies, 90, passed away on December 22, 2006. Mr. Lies had been a resident of Albuquerque since 1960. He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Lies. He is survived by his siblings, Jeanette Gebes, Fran Gebes, Rosemary Panter, Lillian Smith, Sister Marianelle Lies, Al Lies, Dick Lies, Ray Lies, and James Lies. He was a member of the Shriners, Elks Lodge, the German Club, VFW Post 401, and American Legion Post 49. Private family services are planned at a later date.
