GREGORITA P. Ms. Gregorita P. Gonzales was born July 26, 1920 and died in Albuquerque on December 23, 2006, at the age of 86. Gregorita was preceded in death by her parents, Jesus Maria Gonzales and Josefita Padilla Gonzales; her brothers, Apalonio Gonzales, Joaquin (Jake) Gonzales, and Louis Gonzales; and her sisters, Flora Gonzales, Erenia Gonzales, Bernadita Apodaca, Zenaida Martinez, Juanita Montoya, and Conception Gonzales. She worked at the Imperial Laundry in Albuquerque for many years and then became a housekeeper for the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church in Alameda. She also helped her brothers and sisters care take their parents. She joined the Alameda Community Center and attended all the senior activities for more than 20 years. She really enjoyed dancing and her favorite thing to eat when she was a young girl was bizcochito cookies. She will be missed by her nieces, nephews, and friends. Services are pending with Salazar and Sons Mortuary 400 Third St. SW, Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church and interment will take place at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
