CRISTOBAL Mr. Cristobal (Chris) Marquez, 81, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away on December 18, 2006. Mr. Marquez is survived by five children, Dolores Marquez, Victor Marquez and wife, Maria, Isaac Marquez, John Marquez, and Anthony Marquez; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a special cousin, Priscilla Padilla; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Mr. Marquez was preceded in death by his wife, Helen and ten brothers and sisters. Mr. Marquez was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church, a Veteran of the U.S. Army serving during the Korean Conflict, and the Holy Name Society. Visitation will be Wednesday, December 20, 2006, from 6:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. by Lorraine and Dorothy. Final visitation will be Thursday from 8:30 a.m. until 9:00 a.m. with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. by a Franciscan Friar. Interment will follow at the Santa Fe National Cemetery at 11:30 a.m. Pallbearers will be his sons, Victor, Isaac, John, and Anthony; M.C. Marquez, and Jimmy Tran.
