Max Martinez, age 74, of Albuquerque, passed away peacefully, Monday, December 18, 2006 after battling a lengthy illness. He is survived by his daughter, Tanya Sprunk and husband, James of Albuquerque; son, Eric Shelton and wife, Denise of Phoenix, AZ; daughter, Lori Welby of Albuquerque, NM; grandchildren, Joseph, Shaniece, Alexis, James Jr., and Daryn of Albuquerque, and Crista Fair of Boise, ID; four brothers; five sisters; many other family members and friends who loved him dearly and will miss him. Private Services were held for family members in Albuquerque. Burial will take place at the Santa Fe National Cemetery at a later date.
