Rosalie G. Warcken, 80, passed away on Saturday, December 16, 2006. She was born in Willard, NM, on December 8, 1926, and was a resident of Albuquerque since 1968. She was preceded in death by parents, Antonio and Rufina Gomez; husband, Orville Warcken; sisters, Carmen Flores and Clara Romero. She is survived by her son, George E. Gomez and wife Dora; grandson, Erik; sisters, Jessie Maes, Rose McTeigue, and Maria Maes. Rosary will be recited at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, December 18, 2006 at French Mortuary, 10500 Lomas Blvd NE. Funeral services will be held at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church, 5311 Phoenix NE on Tuesday, December 19, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. with Mass of Christian Burial celebrated by her nephew, Fr. Anthony Maes. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Erik J. Gomez, Adrian Maes, Bob Romero, Fernando Flores, Rick Flores, and Tony Flores. Honorary Pallbearers will be Brian Gutierrez, Joe Alexander, Frank Maes, and Ben Maes. The family would like to extend special thanks to the caregivers at Arbor Creek Nursing Home and to Hospice of the Sandias.
