Obituary for CARRASCO

Ambrosio (Andy) Carrasco Jr., age 77, beloved and devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, was called to his heavenly home by the Lord, Tuesday, December 12, 2006, while surrounded by his loving family. Mr. Carrasco was a life long resident of Albuquerque. He was a proud Veteran of the United States Army, who served his country during the Korean Conflict where he was injured in combat; he was a recipient of three Bronze Stars and a Purple Heart. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ambrosio Sr. and Anna Marie Carrasco; and a daughter, Bernadette Carrasco. Mr. Carrasco is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Felipita Carrasco of the family home; his children, Frances Aragon and husband, Edward Aragon, Sr., Andy Carrasco III, and Joseph Carrasco and wife, Lori; his grandchildren, Edward Aragon, Jr., Antoinette Greenlee and husband, Jim, Ashley, Francine, and Alysia Carrasco; his great-grandchildren, Dominique and Noah. Private Funeral Services were conducted Friday, December 15, 2006 at Santa Fe National Cemetery with Military Honors accorded by the Veterans of Foreign Wars Honorguard. Casket bearers were Edward Aragon Sr., Andy Carrasco III, Jim Greenlee, Ashley Carrasco, Antoinette Greenlee, and Edward Aragon, Jr. Funeral Services were entrusted to: Daniels Family Funeral Services Alameda Mortuary 9420 4th Street NW 898-3160
