Isabel Anaya Saavedra Biggs, age 83, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, passed away Monday, December 11, 2006. Isabel was a devoted and loving wife and mother who will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She is survived by three sons, Cruz A. Saavedra and his wife, Lisa of Kingman, AZ, Lawrence E. Saavedra and his wife, Patty of Albuquerque, and Louis Saavedra of Honolulu, HI; sisters, Della Anaya and Stella Leyba, both of Albuquerque; and numerous grand and great-grandchildren. Isabel was preceded in death by her husband, John Biggs; son, Robert Anaya; and daughter, Susan Crawford. A Rosary will be recited Sunday, December 17, 2006 at 4:00 p.m. at French Mortuary Westside Chapel. Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated Monday, December 18, 2006 at 9:00 a.m., at St. Joseph on the Rio Grande, 5901 St. Josephs Dr. NW, with interment to follow at 11:30 a.m. at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
