Obituary for LEVESQUE

Lucien J. Levesque, 92 of Albuquerque, went to be with the Lord on December 13, 2006. He was born in Fall River, MA and was a member of the CCC's in 1929 in Vermont. He moved to Somerset, MA during the early 50s and retired with 23 years from the Globe Manufacturing Company in Fall River, MA. Lucien moved to Albuquerque in 1970. He was self-employed as a house painter where he had many customers and became well known for his slogan, "I'll paint your house as if it was mine." He retired at the age of 84. Lucien was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Leona; mother, Leona, father Valmore; and 11 brothers and sisters. He is survived by his sisters, Pauline Hume of Somerset, MA; Germaine Guay of Connecticut; brother, Bertrand Levesque of Fall River, MA; son, Richard and wife, Barbara Levesque and granddaughter, Gina of Rhode Island; daughters, Jeanne and husband, Ron Overall of Sandia Park, NM; Denise Rigney of Rio Rancho, NM; four nephews; and several grandchildren. Lucien was a member of Faith Bible Church for many years. The family wishes to thank Grace Adult Home Care and Hilldale Homes for their care and support. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, December 16, 2006, 10:00 a.m. at French Mortuary, 7121 Wyoming Blvd., NE. Entombment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 7900 Wyoming Blvd. NE. Viewing will be held one hour prior to Service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Ambercare Hospice, 2129 Osuna Road, NE, Albuquerque 87113.
