Frances D. Richards, who was born June 3, 1950, passed away December 7, 2006. She is survived by her loving husband of 30 years, John Richards, of Silver Peak, Nevada; son, David Richards, wife, Melissa, and their two daughters of Farmington, NM; father, Eugene Ray, of Carlsbad, NM; sister Donna Velasquez, and husband Joe of Albuquerque; brothers Frank Ray, and wife Sherry of Kingman, Arizona; John Ray, and wife Phyllis of Farmington, NM.; Wesley Ray, wife Rhonda of Albuquerque, NM; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother, Jewel Ray on October 17, 1995. Fran was a longtime school teacher in New Mexico, Oregon, Idaho, and Nevada. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 12, 2006, at French Mortuary Westside Chapel from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Services will be held at the Chester T. French Memorial Mausoleum Chapel, at Sunset Memorial Park, on Wednesday, December 13, 2006, at 11:00 a.m., with Pastor John Kennedy of Belen officiating.
