Obituary for SUDBURY

James Calvin Sudbury was born August 28, 1947, in Salt Lake City, UT. He died at home peacefully in San Francisco, CA on August 30, 2006. He is survived by his mother, Maxine, and brother Scott, and was preceded in death by his father, Calvin Sudbury. In 1956 James' family moved to Albuquerque. James finished UNM Architecture School's five year program in 1965 and graduated in 1970, when he became a licensed architect in the state of New Mexico. James worked for various architects in New Mexico until 1979, when he moved to San Francisco, where he worked on the "Epcot Center" at Disney World, and many other projects. James stayed close to his family in Albuquerque and to his friends and colleagues in architecture, including Glenn Fellows, Doug Mehrens, Sophia Polakowski Peron, and many more. A celebration of his life will be held from 2 - 5 p.m., Saturday, December 16, 2006 at the home of Glenn Fellows and Patricia Hancock, 530 Chamisa Lane NW, Albuquerque.
