Helena DeGraaf, 76, a resident of Albuquerque since 1967, died Monday, December 4, 2006. She is survived by her children, Paul DeGraaf and wife, Cheryl, Gordon DeGraaf and wife, Wendy, Betty Wattles and husband, Roger, all of Albuquerque, Shirley Molenaar and husband, Paul of Willmar, MN, Harvey DeGraaf and wife, Terri, Daryl DeGraaf, Kevin DeGraaf, and Brandi, all of Albuquerque; 24 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild; brother, John Moorlag and wife, Edith of Lynden, WA; sister, Sylvia Tensen and husband, Andrew of Brooten, MN; sister-in-law, DeeDee Moorlag of Pease, MN; and brother-in-law, John DeGraaf and wife, Gladys of Visilia, CA. Mrs. DeGraaf was preceded in death by her husband, Cornelius DeGraaf and her grandson, Craig Wattles. Helena graduated from Milaca High School. She married her husband in June of 1954. They farmed in Minnesota before moving to Albuquerque in 1967. Together, they owned and operated DeGraaf Dairy for many years. Mrs. DeGraaf also worked for the Albuquerque Public Schools. Helena was a member of Fellowship Christian Reformed Church. She was a member of the Duke City Singles Square Dance Club. Services will be held Friday, December 8, 2006 11:00 a.m., Fellowship Christian Reformed Church, 4800 Indian School Rd. NE.
