Lucy, 72, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque passed away on December 3, 2006 at home surrounded by her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Antonio Barela and Isabel Asher; husband, John A. Comiskey; sister, Mary Hayes; granddaughter, Jaclynne Renee Comiskey. Lucy is survived by her son, Joseph J. Comiskey; daughter, Elaine M. Comiskey; grandson, Brandon Comiskey; brother, Leo T. Barela; brother-in-law, John Hayes; nephews, Anthony Barela, John Hayes Jr., Michael Hayes; niece, Susan Moreno and two very special children, Ryan and Kristin Creel, whom she considered as her own grandchildren; and many very close friends who are going to miss her deeply. Memorial Services will be held on Thursday, December 7, 2006 at 10:30 a.m at Queen of Heaven Church, 5311 Phoenix NE. Interment of cremains will be held on Friday, December 8, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
