Vernon L. Jones, beloved father, passed away Friday, December 1, 2006. He was born November 9, 1937 in Greatben, Kansas. Mr. Jones was a resident of Albuquerque and Rio Rancho for over 40 years. He is preceded in death by a daughter, Cheryl Jones. He is survived by his two daughters, Carolyn Jones from San Antonio, Texas and a daughter Kandus Jones from Independence, Kansas. two brothers, and 2 sisters. A visitation will be held Tuesday, December 5, 2006 from 6:00 p.m. till 8:00 p.m. at Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church. A funeral service is to be held Wednesday, December 6, at 11:00 a.m. at Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church, 1509 Edith Boulevard, SE. Albuquerque, with The Reverend Darnell Smith officiating.
