Obituary for GWINN

Mark P. Gwinn Sr., born January 23, 1919, a lifelong resident of Belen, NM passed away in Phoenix, AZ on November 25, 2006. He is survived by his wife of 23 years, June Gwinn; one son, Mark P. Gwinn Jr. and his wife, Carolyn of Belen, NM; two grandchildren, Tina Dziuk and James Johnston and wife, Jessica; five great-grandchildren, Tyler, Alec, Bresia, Brooklyn, and Jay. He is also survived by one daughter, Martina Jane Gwinn of Edgewood, NM; and two sisters, Gladys Dixon of Topeka, KS and Virginia Richardson of Medford, OR. Mark was a conductor for the Santa Fe Railroad for forty-four years. He was a member of the Bethlehem Lodge 56 and a 32nd degree Mason. During World War II he served in the U.S. Airforce. He loved nature and enjoyed spending time fishing and gardening. He loved his family and will be missed by those that knew him. Cremation has taken place and his ashes will be laid to rest at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona in Phoenix, AZ. There will be a memorial service at 2:00 p.m. on December 15, 2006 at the Masonic Hall in Belen, NM.
