Obituary for LONGMIRE

Paul Arthur Longmire, 68, a longtime resident of Albuquerque, died on Saturday, November 18, 2006. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Patricia Longmire; two daughters, Erin Longmire-Lachnit and husband, Doug and Shannon Longmire and husband, Leo Monford, all of Albuquerque; five grandchildren, Leala, Ty, Mya, Nelson, and Shanle; two brothers, Richard Longmire and wife, Peggy of Greensboro, NC and Donald Longmire of Palos Verdes, CA; three nieces; one nephew; and many friends. Paul was born on January 18, 1938 in Clarksburg, WV to Robert and Altha Jane Longmire. He received a BS in Electrical Engineering from Ohio State University and a Master's from UNM. Paul worked at Sandia Labs for 37 years until his retirement. He loved to play tennis, golf, and spend time with his family. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather and will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Cremation has taken place and a private memorial service was held as per Paul's request.
