Harry Ottinger, Jr. died Tuesday, October 24, 2006 in Albuquerque. He was born in McKeesport, PA in 1921, the son of Harry and Eulalia Ottinger. A graduate of M I T in chemical Engineering, he worked for Exxon Corporation traveling worldwide mostly in Coordination and Petroleum Economics. He lived with his family in Louisiana, Connecticut, Germany and New Jersey. Upon retirement in Albuquerque, he started up a woodworking business, Del Rio Designs, with his son and built an adobe house in Sandia Heights. Mr. Ottinger is survived by his wife, Susan; daughter, Bee; son, David and wife, Mary Manchester; grandchildren, Caitlyn, Everett and Jennie; sister, Barbara; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Clark and Mary Hulings; niece, Elizabeth Hulings; and Jennie's husband, Scott Arai. He was preceded in death by his son, Harry III. A private family memorial service will be held on Friday, November 24, 2006.
