CHRISTINA HODGE SSG Christina Hodge-Perea U.S. Army "our beloved Tina", 39, born Friday, July 21, 1967, was called home to rest with our Heavenly Father on Thursday, November 16, 2006 after a courageous fight with Leukemia. Tina was a wonderful MOM, a loving wife, daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece, cousin, auntie, and friend. She is survived by her husband and lifetime love, Ramon; two precious children, Calicia and Demetrio; her mom, Arlita "Pat" Black and Dad Lonnie Hodge; loving and devoted grandmother, Mrs. Ruby Hooker; grandfathers, Tommie D Hooker and Floyd Gathright; three sisters, Lenae Hodge-Casias and husband, Warren, Sheryl Lynn Hodge and Erica Womack; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and numerous friends. She was a graduate of West Mesa High School where she excelled in track winning the 400 meter in state record time and going undefeated her senior year. She attended the University of New Mexico on an athletic/track scholarship. Tina served her country in the U.S. Army as a LPN and most recently as a RN. Services will be Monday, November 20, 2006, 11:00 a.m., at Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church, 8550 Saul Bell Rd NW. Interment will follow at Fairview Memorial Park. Friends may visit French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel, Sunday, November 19, 2006, 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, 3150 Carlisle NE, Suite 35, Albuquerque, NM 87110 or Tina's special wish was for people to be donors to United Blood Services.
