Obituary for BRACHT

Werner Bracht, 84, passed away November 12, 2006, after a long illness. He was born in Baden-Baden, Germany, served in WWII in the U.S. Army, work for Bell Telephone Labs and IBM as a chemical engineer and Sprague Electric. He was a very active volunteer at the New Mexico Museum of Natural History for 17 years. He is survived by his wife of 59 years Grace Bracht; daughters, Cindy Bracht and Cheryl Bracht of Vermont; grandchildren, Stephen and Christie Palmer of Vermont, Kassandra Carson of Albuquerque; brother, Fred Bracht of Tucson; nieces, nephews, other family and friends who loved and will miss him greatly. A Memorial Service will be held at a latter date. Donations can be made to the New Mexico Museum of Natural History, or the Animal Humane Society of New Mexico.
