Obituary for HOLT

Published in the Albuquerque Journal on Saturday November 18, 2006

Marshall Henry Holt - a man of humor, style and grace, a true free spirit. Marshall was originally from Virginia Beach, VA and has left behind his sisters, Phyllis Phillips and family and Lenora Adylett and family. He will be missed daily by his loving wife, Bess; his parrot, Largo; and numerous friends from all over the country. He will be greatly missed by his Albuquerque family, Chris, Sandy, Hannah, and Shellby Robberts. Marshall was hero, mentor, best friend, and riding buddy to Chris and godfather to Hannah and Shellby. Marshall was a caring, thoughtful person and a wonderful husband with a huge heart. He was mentor, student of life, a wonderful listener and always in pursuance of good times with his many friends. He loved riding his motorcycle with Chris, especially in Durango, CO and the Sandias. He was generous with his time and knowledge, an "old soul" with sage wisdom. He had a knack of making the best out of any situation and injected humor whenever possible. As one of his favorite songwriters sang "some of its magic and some its tragic, but I had a good life anyway" honey, you will always be with me, I love you so. Bess
