JOSE A. Mr. Jose (Joe) A. Ortiz, 76, born in Bernalillo, September 14, 1930, went home to our Loving Father in Heaven on November 6, 2006. He is survived by his loving wife, Margaret; his 12 children, Virginia Velasquez, Veronica Summers and husband, Ken, Viola Gonzales and husband, Fermin, Samson Ortiz and wife, Barbara, Gregory Ortiz and wife, RoseMarie, Richard Ortiz and wife, Valerie, Fabian Ortiz and wife, Margarita, Martin Ortiz and wife, Beverly, Valery Baca and husband, Martin, David Ortiz and fiancee, Patsy Gallegos, Vivian Henderson and husband, Jeff, Mario Ortiz and wife, Sheila; 29 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; his two brothers, Juan and Arturo Ortiz; his sister, MaryEllen Garcia. Visitation will be Wednesday, November 8, 2006 Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in Bernalillo from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. in the Social Center with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. by Deacon Jesus Cervantes Final visitation will be Thursday morning at Our Lady of Sorrows Church from 11:30 a.m. until 12 noon with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 12 noon. Burial will follow in the Our Lady of Sorrows Cemetery in Bernalillo. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Our Lady of Sorrows Church in Bernalillo in memory of Joe.
