Ranceford H. Jio, 56, passed away October 26 at his home with family after battling lung cancer. Born in Hawaii, he moved to NM in 1968. He was the longest tenured employee as an accountant for the Maloof Companies. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Kathy; son, James (JJ), wife, Carla and their daughters, Monica and Jeneva; son, Ranceford (RJ), wife, Renae and their children, David and Ciera; son, Anthony (TJ), wife, Michelle and their daughters, Maya and Olivia, all of Albuquerque; sister, Sheri, her husband, Randi and their son, Ryan; his mother, Aiko; and preceded in death by his father, Nobuyuki, all of Hawaii. Rance was a family man and he loved to play with his grandchildren. He had a passion for cars. He spent many years outdoors fishing or hunting with his wife and sons. He will be greatly missed.
