Paul A. Silva, age 81 and a resident of Albuquerque of 55 years, died on Monday October 30, 2006 following an illness. Mr. Silva is survived by his wife, Gloria Q. Silva; three daughters: Gloria Jean Valdez and husband, Alfredo, Anna Sanchez, and Tammy Jaramillo and husband, James, all of Albuquerque; three grandchildren, Alana Sanchez, Jamesha Jaramillo, and Grayson Jaramillo. Mr. Silva was the youngest and last of 15 children born to Alex and Presillianna Silva. He was a member of Queen of Heaven Catholic Church, and retired from Sandia National Labs in 1981 after 36 years. Viewing and visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 1, 2006 from 6:30 to 7:00 p.m. with a Rosary to follow at 7:00 p.m. in Queen of Heaven Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, November 2, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. in Queen of Heaven with interment to follow in the Santa Fe National Cemetery at 1:30 p.m. All Services are under the care and direction of Fitzgerald and Son Funeral Directors 3113 Carlisle Blvd. NE 884-1188
