Obituary for BRUMMELL

Dennis R. Brummell, 68, is resting in peace, after a long battle with cancer, called into the loving arms of our beloved Lord on October 23, 2006. He was born August 20, 1938, in Springfield, MO, to Dennis and Helen Brummell, both deceased. He grew up in Springfield and Albuquerque where he attended Highland High School and later graduated from the University of New Mexico, after which he relocated to Chicago where he was an advertising executive. He returned to Albuquerque in 1981 where he retired from the Albuquerque Publishing Company. He is survived by his son, Michael Brummell, wife, Marimel; daughter, Erin Kleindorfer; longtime companion, James Graham; brother, David Brummell, and wife, Diane; sister, Sherri Pearson, and spouse, Jim Castle; ex-wife, Drew Brummell; niece, Bronwyn Whittredge; nephews, Bryan and Brett Brummell; grandsons, Dominick Brummell, Lance Brummell, and Mark Sattler; numerous other nephews and nieces and distant relatives and friends. Dennis devoted himself to his church and was recently proclaimed a Eucharist Lay Minister, of which he was very proud. He was a wonderful, loving man who will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, October 27, 2006 at 3:00 p.m. at The Cathedral Church of St. John, 318 Silver SW, Albuquerque, NM. Goodbye, Dear Dennis.
