Mieko (Nanci) Ann Bartow, 55, a resident of Albuquerque, died Sunday October 22, 2006. She is survived by her daughter, Christine and husband, Tony; two sons, Justin and wife, Maggie and Shane; four grandchildren, Cameron, Conner, Katie and Isabella; parents, Edward James and Hiromi Filmer; sister and brothers, Patricia Cooksey, Marvin Filmer and wife, Stephanie, Edward Filmer II and wife, Diane, Victor Filmer and wife, Toni; sister-in-law, Dorothy Filmer; 17 nieces and nephews, Denette, Krystal, Chandra, David, Brian, Jason, Marshall, Brittany, Cory, Christy, Sabrina, Shawn, Kasie, Eddie, Chelsea, Zachary, and Dwight; and numerous other relatives and friends who loved, admired, and cared for her. Mieko was preceded in death by her brother, David Paul Filmer. Mieko was born on March 22, 1955 in Fukuoka City, Japan. Mieko was a beloved mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and aunt who will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Services will be held at Vista Verde Memorial Park in Rio Rancho Friday, October 27, 2006, 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Dale Coffing officiating.
