EDMUND E. Mr. Edmund E. Saavedra, 73, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away on October 24, 2006. Mr. Saavedra is survived by his beloved wife of forty-five years, Mrs. Mary Ann Saavedra; two daughters, Cynthia Apodaca and husband, Eziquiel and Carmela Andrade and husband, Tobias; two sisters, Anna Lovato and Erlinda Trujillo and husband, Louie; two brothers, Albert Saavedra and wife, Bessie and Fidel Saavedra and wife, Felice; five grandchildren, Justine, Solomon, Adam, Carmelita, and Stephanie; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Mr. Saaveda was a member of the Catholic Church and a Veteran of the U.S. Navy. Visitation will be Thursday, October 26, 2006, from 6:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 5415 Fortuna NW, with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. by Gabriella Nieto. Final visitation will be Friday at the Church from 8:30 a.m. until 9:00 a.m. with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Anthony Archibeque, Leonard Abeyta Sr., Adam Andrade, Joseph Montoya, Robert Duran, and Florival Archibeque. Honorary pallbearer will be Solomon Apodaca.
