Mary Irene Moya went home to be with the Lord on October 23, 2006 at the age of 55. Mary sponsored a young girl with the Christian Children's Fund and also participated with various Christian Charities. Mary was preceded in death by her son, Robert Moya Jr. She is survived by her husband, Pete R. Moya, a marriage of 40 years; her daughters, Jennifer Palacio and husband, Robert, and Donna Quintana and husband, Alex; her father, Isidro Romero; by her three brothers, Frank Romero and wife, Tina, Anthony Romero, and Eugene Romero; her two sisters, Connie Romero Sandoval and husband, Albert, and Bernadette Zamora; by her eight grandchildren; and her four great-grandchildren. She will be missed by all. Visitations for Mary will be held on Thursday between 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. in the Eighth Street Chapel of Daniels Family Funeral Services - Garcia Mortuary, with an evening Service to follow at 7:00 p.m. A final visitation will be held on Friday between 9:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. in the Eighth Street Chapel of Daniels Family Funeral Services - Garcia Mortuary with a Service to follow at 10:00 a.m. Internment for Mary will be at Mount Calvary Cemetery immediately following the service. Pallbearers will be Robert Palacio, Alex Quintana, Louis Zamora, Joshua Lopez, Joe Lopez, and Abe Gonzales. Honorary Pallbearer will be Aaron De Lara.
