Obituary for LANE

Robert E. Lane (Bob), age 74, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away peacefully on Saturday October 14, 2006. He is survived by two daughters, Traci Sanchez and husband, Kraig of Albuquerque; and Vicki L. McClelland of AZ; and son, Alan Hixon of CO; three grandchildren, Erica K. McClelland of AZ, Noah A. and Jenna Mari Sanchez of Albuquerque who will miss him greatly. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Becky; mother, Callie; daughter, Vicki Graham; and three brothers, Doyle, Melvin, and Bill. He served in the U.S. Army in the Korean War. Bob loved to play the slots, talk and was an avid reader, he also enjoyed going to Noah's football games. He prided himself in being a dedicated and loyal Dallas Cowboys fan. Bob was a man with a really large heart who spent his life taking care of the ones he loved and cared for and doing what he thought was best to protect those who did not really know he loved them. Bob is finally where he has wanted to be for some time in the arms of his beloved wife Becky. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
