Obituary for WARDELL

John W. and Frances L. Wardell, residents of Albuquerque for 20 years, died within 30 days of each other on October 12, 2006 and September 15, 2006 respectively. They are survived by their son, John F. Wardell and wife, Sandra J. Wardell of Helena, MT; grandson, Christopher Wardell who is working in Morocco; and daughter-in-law, Marie Wardell of Alameda, CA. They were preceded in death by their son, James M. Wardell. Mr. Wardell was a retired USAF Lt. Col. He worked for many years designing and constructing cranes at the Cleveland Crane Company in Cleveland, OH, before retiring to Albuquerque. Mrs. Wardell worked for many years in the home. They enjoyed playing golf and hiking together in New Mexico. One of their favorite hiking areas was the Sandia Mountains. Cremation has taken place and Memorial Services will be held Saturday, 1:00 p.m., at Sandia Presbyterian Church, 10704 Paseo Del Norte NE. Interment of cremated remains will take place Friday, at 11:00 a.m., at the Santa Fe National Cemetery. Should friends desire, contributions may be made to Friends of the Sandia Mountains, P.O.
