RICHARD With his wife Armita, his childhood sweetheart, waiting for him at the gates of heaven, Richard J. Dorso, 72, left this world October 5, 2006 to begin his journey of eternal life in the Kingdom of God. Preceded by his wife Armita in 2001 he is survived by 4 children: sons, Stephen M. Dorso, Richard J.Dorso and his wife Gabriele; daughters Lori M. Perrini and her husband George; Marlene A. Ruiz. Brother Jack Dorso and his wife Carol; sister Audrey Diesslin and her husband Bill; 10 grandchildren; and 1 great-grandchild. Born in Hoboken, N.J. moved to Albuquerque, NM in the 40s, Richard served proudly with the New Mexico Air National Guard for over 42 years with a tour in Vietnam. After retirement, and the passing of Armita, Richard moved to Tucson to enjoy his family. Services will be held on Friday, October 20, 2006 2:00 p.m. at the Santa Fe National Cemetery. There will be a reception immediately following the service to celebrate Richard's life. For additional information call (520) 575 4062.
