Virginia A. Harrison, born September 21, 1949, lifelong resident of Albuquerque, NM, went to be with our Lord on October 15, 2006. She is survived by her three children, Robert Sanchez and wife, Stella, Melissa Garcia and husband, Thomas, Jennifer Harrison and Kevin Littenberg; two sisters, Jeannette Torrez and husband, Danny, Loretta Gurule and husband, Al. She is also survived by four grandchildren, Amanda Garcia, Alisia Sanchez, James Garcia, and Steven Sanchez. She is preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Corrine Harrison. Virginia was a loving Mother and Grandmother. She was adored by her grandchildren who she spoiled with love and affection. Virginia loved to travel which is why she took a job with Southwest Airlines after retirement from APD. Virginia was a wonderful person who always lit up a room when she entered. She was a true friend to all who knew her and she was always willing to help those she loved in any way she could. Her spirit will live on through those whose lives she touched with her kindness and generosity. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends. Rosary will be recited on October 18, 2006 at 7:00 p.m. at St Therese Little Flower on 300 Mildred Ave. NW. Funeral Services will be held on October 19, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. at St Therese Little Flower on 300 Mildred Ave. NW. Interment will follow at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to CNM Komen Foundation, P.O. Box 92110, Albuquerque, NM 87199, in support of breast cancer research and education efforts.
