Obituary for KUETTER

Barbara Hubbell Kuetter (Bobbie), 95, was reunited with her beloved husband, Bill, on Sunday, October 15, 2006. Born in San Bernardino, CA, Barbara grew up on the Navajo Reservation at Hubbell Trading Posts in Pinon, Nazlini, and Ganado, AZ. She earned a Bachelor's Degree in Education in Flagstaff and worked for Social Services in Arizona for two years. In 1945 Barbara moved to Albuquerque, where she managed her brother's dental office for the next 35 years. She dedicated her life to her work, her husband, and her deep and abiding faith in God. Barbara was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, William Kuetter; parents, Madge and George Hubbell, Sr.; brothers, George P. Hubbell, DDS and Donald Hubbell, Ph.D. and their wives; and nephew, George H. Hubbell. She is survived by her nephew, Donald Hubbell, Jr.; nieces, Lila Miller, Helen Jeanne Chase and Madge Hubbell; and a close-knit group of loyal friends from her senior living community. Services will be held Friday, October 20, 2006, at 10:00 a.m., at Chester T. French Memorial Mausoleum Chapel, at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE.
