Urbano D. Sanchez, age 75, was born in Albuquerque, NM, February 10, 1931. Our beloved and wonderful husband, father, grandfather, uncle, and friend passed away Sunday, October 8, 2006, after a long battle with diabetes. Urbano worked many years for the City, retired from APS and was a Volunteer Fireman. Urbano was preceded in death by his parents Pantaleon and Inez Sanchez. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Agnes; six beautiful children, Crisie and husband, Ernie, Barnie and wife, Lee, Rosie and husband, Raymond, Darlene and husband, Melvin, Andrew and wife, Jodie, and Kenny; 15 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; other family members and friends who loved and will miss him. Services will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Sage Ward, 8130 Sage St. SW, on Friday, October 13, 2006. The viewing will begin at 12:00 noon with the Funeral Service at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel. Interment will follow at San Jose de Armijo Cemetery at Coors and Arenal SW.
