Robert Scott Saenz, born July 8, 1977, died on Sunday morning October 8, 2006 of complications from leukemia. Beloved son of Suzanna Borges Pfeiffer and A. Kurt Saenz, Robert died peacefully at UNMH in Albuquerque, NM where those tending him for the last three years cared for him with gentleness and genuine love. The family expresses thanks to UNMH for their care and compassion. Robert celebrated life in New Mexico sharing time between family, friends, school and work. He leaves behind his sister, Stephanie Garcia, her husband Will, sons Aaron and Alex and step-daughter Nicole. Stepfather Joe Pfeiffer and family, Stepmother Theresa Saenz and brothers Ivan and Ean, his soulmate Stefanie Lamm and a huge list of family and friends that loved him. Grandparents Jan Saenz, Adolph Saenz, Suzanna and Al Borges; Aunts and Uncles: Bob and Wanda Borges, Michael and Maryanne Saenz; Ed and Donna Borges; Marie (Sisi) Miranda, Eric Saenz, Jerry Krachman, Babette Saenz; and a host of cousins who adored him and will treasure their time with him. His closest friends who were present at his passing, Danny and Lara, Angelina and Anthony were also part of his extended family. Services will be held at Sandia Crest in Albuquerque, New Mexico on Saturday, October 14, 2006 at 1 p.m. in the Cibola National Forest (Doc Long picnic area). The outdoor services will be presented by Kon Tweeten. A reception following the service will be held at 3:00 p.m. at Valley Christian Academy, 2813 Gun Club Road, for family and friends to remember him. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Leukemia Foundation.
