ELEWENE Age 74, died at home of cancer surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, October 8, 2006. She was born in Hackburg, AL, on January 17, 1932, to Dovie and Walter J. Mann. Elewene was preceded in death by her husband, Edward L. Loucks; mother and father: Dovie and Walter Mann; brothers: Burt and Al Mann; and mother and father-in-law: Alice and John Loucks. She is survived by her children; sister; brother; nieces; nephews; eight grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. The suffering has now ended. A new journey will begin. We'll treasure the miles, warm hugs and your smiles, until God let's you greet us again. A Graveside Service will be conducted on Thursday, October 12, 2006, 3:00 p.m. at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
