GEORGE B. Col. George B. Carroll, Sr. USAF Retired, 87 years of age, resident of Albuquerque since 1985, died September 29, 2006. He is survived by his sister, Calista Asevica, of Waterbury, CT; son, Dr. George B. Carroll, Jr. and his wife, Linda, of Corrales, NM. The Colonel was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Evelyn. He was a member of St. Joseph on the Rio Grande Catholic Church and a past member of the Lions Club. Col. Carroll served in World War II, Korea, Vietnam, and was stationed at Air Force bases around the world. After retiring from the Air Force, he and Evelyn lived in Middlebury, CT for 15 years and then moved to La Luz Del Sol in Albuquerque to be near their son, George. Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 6, 2006 at St. Joseph on the Rio Grande Catholic Church, 5901 St. Joseph Dr. NW. Father Alan Cushing of Tacoma, WA will celebrate the Funeral Mass.
