Obituary for MONDRAGON

Manuel J. Mondragon, age 69 and a resident of Albuquerque for 48 years, died Monday September 25, 2006 in a local hospital following an illness. Mr. Mondragon is survived by his wife, Lupe N. Campbell of Albuquerque; three daughters, Lisa Herrera and husband, Ruben of Albuquerque, Diane Chavez and husband, Joseph of Los Lunas, Lorraine Campbell of Albuquerque; three sons, Michael Mondragon, Ricky Mondragon and wife, Therese, and Richard Campbell, all of Albuquerque; his mother, Lucilla Mondragon of Taos, NM; two sisters, Francis Cruz and Susan Baca, both of Albuquerque; three brothers ,Patricio Mondragon, Fred Mondragon, and Arturo Mondragon, all of Taos; and ten grandchildren. He was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. A viewing and visitation will be held on Wednesday September 27, 2006 from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. with a Rosary to follow at 7:00 p.m. in the Palm Chapel of Strong-Thorne Mortuary. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, September 28, 2006 at 9:30 a.m. in St. Charles with interment to follow in Fairview Memorial Cemetery.
