Obituary for LUDERS

Linda Kathryn Darnell Dixon Luders, 58, passed away Monday night, September 25, 2006, at home, surrounded by family, after a 4 1/2 year struggle with cancer. She was born April 16, 1948 in Albuquerque, and lived most of her life there and in Bernalillo. Linda graduated from Our Lady of Sorrows High School in Bernalillo in 1966 and attended the University of New Mexico. In 1969, she married John B. Dixon of Albuquerque, and is survived by their two children, Heather Dixon of Philadelphia, PA, and Storm Dixon of Bernalillo. She remarried in 2002 to Charles R. Luders of Bernalillo. Linda is also survived by her sister, Verda Rinaldi of Salt Lake City, UT; and three of her four brothers, Carlton Darnell of Albuquerque, Calvin Darnell of Prescott, AZ, and Cone Darnell of Mesa, AZ. She was preceded in death by another brother, Charles Darnell of Bernalillo and her parents, Henry and Dorothy Darnell. Linda was an active, life-long member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and devoted her life to serving the Lord. Linda was an elect lady who was loved by all who knew her and will be dearly missed. Services will be held Friday, 11:00 am at the Bernalillo Chapel of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 325 Avenida de Bernalillo. Viewing will be held at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel, 1111 University Blvd. NE, Thursday, 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Should friends desire, donations can be made to the Susan G.
