Obituary for DURAN

Published in the Albuquerque Journal on Saturday September 23, 2006

Jason Paul Duran, 39, of North Las Vegas, NV, passed away Saturday, September 2, 2006. Born February 17, 1967 in Albuquerque, NM, he has resided in Nevada for 10 years. He was a very caring, wonderful person. Jason was the best father any child could have. Because of his great sense of humor, he always had his friends and family laughing. He was a true friend to everyone he met and was the first one to offer help to anyone who needed it. He loved to play his Socom game on his PS2, liked to work on his low-rider and ride his motorcycle. Jason had such a big heart, and a beautiful soul that will live forever. Jason was an organ donor so he continues helping others at this sad time. He is survived by his loving wife of three great years, Dorothy Duran; his two wonderful children, Justin and Sierra Duran; his caring parents, Walt Duran and Carmin Duran-Sosebee; brother, Aaron Duran; grandfather, Paul Duran; and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Services and interment were held on Thursday, September 7, 2006 at Palm Mortuary in Las Vegas, NV. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Nevada Donor Network, 2085 E. Sahara Ave., Las Vegas, NV, 89104 in Jason Duran's name.
